An antibacterial of the 3rd generation cephalosporin class

Indicated for the treatment of serious and life-threatening infections due to susceptible organisms, for example
brain abscess, gonorrhea, Lyme disease, meningitis, peritonitis, pneumonia, septicaemia, typhoid fever,
prophylaxis for surgical infection, and intensive care.

Available in 500mg and 1g IM/IV powder for injection in box of 10s and 50s
